Speech and Language Evaluations

The first step is the evaluation. One of our SC board-certified and licensed speech-language pathologists (SLPs) will utilize both informal and formal assessment measures to gather information about your child's strengths and areas that need improvement. SLPs will also gather information from you about your child's past and present abilities. The evaluation will take place in your child's home, daycare, or preschool.

POST EVALUATION

After the evaluation, once the SLP has reviewed and written up the results of the speech-language evaluation, she will meet with you .to discuss her findings and to make recommendations. The SLP will take a few minutes to review the evaluation report. At that time you will have an opportunity to ask questions.
